Adductors, fragile muscles


The adductor muscles are often underdeveloped and lacking in strength, and are often overlooked when it comes to muscle strengthening. By forcing them to contract harder and more often in order to perform a movement effectively, pain or muscle contracture can occur.
Weak adductors can lead to sprained knees, for example, and their stiffness can lead to other injuries: from simple inflammation to stretching, straining, straining, tearing or breaking, and even rupture. Hence the importance of not only strengthening but also stretching these muscles through specific stretching and strengthening exercises.
